By accessing or using Oboeru (the "Service"), including the web application at app.oboeru.ai and the Oboeru - Anki Bridge browser extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
Oboeru provides a web-based interface to access Anki flashcard decks stored locally on your computer through the AnkiConnect addon. The Service acts as a bridge between your browser and your local Anki Desktop application.

The Service is provided "as is" without any guarantees of availability, uptime, or reliability.
Your Anki flashcard data remains stored locally on your computer. The Service does not store your flashcard content on our servers. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
You are solely responsible for backing up your Anki data. We are not responsible for any loss of your flashcard data.
The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Oboeru and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without permission.
The Service relies on third-party software including Anki Desktop and AnkiConnect. We are not responsible for the functionality, availability, or security of these third-party applications. Your use of Anki and AnkiConnect is subject to their respective terms and licenses.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OBOERU AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oboeru and its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
